Because TRAKTOR DJ 2 is based on a new, cross-platform codebase, you’ll find things are very much the same. Apart from small layout differences due to screen size and format, the desktop version also lets you import your TRAKTOR PRO 3 collection if you have one. Software Traktor v. Virtual DJ (self.Beatmatch). I'm leaning toward Traktor or Djay Pro. Possibly also Cross just because it's only $20 right now. VDJ is highly unlikely. I'm just starting out so i'll mostly be doing simple stuff and mixing. I do want room to move up though.

Finally, we have also partnered with SoundCloud Go to bring you the best streaming experience possible! THE COMMENTS SECTION Commenting Etiquette Welcome to DJWORX. It’s the most engaged community around, and we have a handful of house rules to keep it that way:. Be polite and constructive. Treat others as you would expect to be treated.
So please disengage keyboard warrior mode before hammering in a full caps rant. Stay on topic. Consider your tone of voice.
Telling someone that they’re wrong comes across better as “I don’t agree and here’s why”. No links to copyrighted or offensive material.Life is way too short to waste time policing comments.
So break the rules and you’re out. It’s just the internet, and the DJWORX community is way more important than catering to the fragile egos of ranting trolls.
I trust I have been crystal clear.
Click to expand. One of the other possibilities is the DJ Conversion Utility (DJCU). DJCU is MacOS only and there are no plans for a Windows version If you're not technically shy, and got access to a MacOS capable system (either a Mac or a Virtual environment) you can use DJCU to convert a Traktor Windows collection to Rekordbox for Windows.I've created both a video and a whitepaper on the subject explaining step by step what is required. It has a higher geek factor, but it will bring you the conversion you're looking for without breaking the bank.
